Our Mission
Art Centered supports youth creativity and wellness through the arts. Our community facility provides workshops, events, materials and tools for a broad range of art forms / mediums. Our outreach includes pop up events which encourage and support creative expression through painting, sculpture, dance, music, multimedia and more.
Our Vision
Art Centered was created shortly after the devastating fires in Lahaina Maui 8-08-2023.
Our vision is to provide safe space for the youth to express creativity in collaboration with community members. It is our belief that "Through creative expression we can process our emotions and ideas into art which can be shared with others. Whether our inspiration is from joy or heartache, the creative process can allow a person to access these emotions and potentially bring forth internal transformation."
Since the fire I have been coming here a lot and have made lots of beautiful art! I like making art!
